From the very first time I arrived, it felt like home away from home. The warmth of the people. The deep honoring of African culture. The music and movement woven into everyday life. The way dance isn’t reserved for a stage — it lives in the streets, the rhythms, the body.
Cartagena carries a vibrancy that invites you to soften and expand at the same time. To take up space without apology. To move freely. To remember yourself beneath the layers of expectation and survival.
When I envisioned Luminous Woman Unleashed, there was no question where it would take place. I wanted to invite women into this feeling — not just to visit Cartagena, but to experience it in a way that mirrors their own becoming.
Imagine stepping into a beautiful private villa where time immediately slows down. You’re greeted with warmth, care, and the sense that you can finally let go of being “on.”
You wake up to natural light and the scent of fresh food being prepared. You sip natural juices. You savor warm meals. You breathe.
You move your body in ways that feel good — learning dance and embodied movements in the comfort of the villa, without pressure, comparison, or judgment. Just presence. Just sensation. Just you.
You step outside and feel the city wrap around you. Music. Laughter. Vibrant Color. Dancing in the streets alongside local performers. The smell of empanadas — pollo, carne — filling the air. The taste of sweetness and spice. The rhythm of life pulsing all around you.

Our home for the week is a beautiful private villa designed for comfort, beauty, and ease. Every woman will have her own private bedroom and bathroom, creating space for both rest and personal retreat. The rooms vary in size, with king, queen, and full beds available. King rooms are reserved for those who choose the VIP experience, which includes a private one-to-one session focused on the movements you want to explore more deeply.
Each day, a private chef will prepare breakfast and lunch for us, allowing meals to become moments of nourishment rather than something to plan or rush through. Throughout the villa, you’ll find inviting common areas where you can sit, connect, laugh, journal, or simply be still.
The rooftop offers open space to relax, take in the views, and enjoy the jacuzzi whenever your body calls for it — whether that’s a quiet moment to yourself or shared time with others.
This retreat is intentionally not jam-packed. There is space built into the experience for rest, reflection, and integration. You’ll have time to explore the city, shop, or wander on your own, as well as time to come together for dance workshops, inner-work, excursions, nights out dancing, and shared experiences.
This is a space designed to support you in receiving what you need — whether that’s connection, solitude, movement, rest, or joy.

• Transportation from the airport to the villa upon arrival

✨ A Sacred Pause: Saturday, September 5
Saturday, September 5, will be a free and unstructured day.
Theresa observes the Sabbath and will not be leading any sessions on this day. This intentional pause invites you to move at your own pace and listen to what your body needs most.
On this day, you’re welcome to:
• Rest and enjoy the villa
• Spend time by the jacuzzi or in shared spaces
• Journal, reflect, or simply be
• Explore Cartagena on your own or with fellow retreat sisters
For those who would like to plan something special, the villa offers a full concierge service available to assist with:
• Personal excursions
• Guided tours
• Transportation arrangements
• Local recommendations and experiences
This day is designed to support rest, autonomy, and choice — honoring both sacred rhythm and personal desire.
What’s not included in your retreat experience:
• Flights to and from Cartagena
• Dinners (giving you the freedom to explore or choose group dinners)
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
• Optional personal excursions or activities outside of the group experience
This retreat is an intimate, luxury experience intentionally limited to 8 women to preserve depth, safety, and connection.

A non-refundable deposit of $550 secures your spot.
If you choose a payment plan, your first payment serves as your deposit and is non-refundable.

Due to the intimate nature of this retreat and advance planning involved:
• Deposits are non-refundable
• If a participant needs to cancel between August 1-31st, a 50% refund of payments made after the deposit will be issued. If a participant cancels between September 1st- retreat start date, a 25% refund of payments made after the deposit will be provided.
This policy allows us to honor commitments to staff, accommodations, and experiences while holding the integrity of the retreat container.
